I have worked with Venkata for over eleven years. During that time, his work has consistently been very high quality. He has attention to detail and has been willing to do whatever is necessary to make projects successful. Hes has also been instrumental in training dozens of new employees over that time. I have been working with Venkata for over ten years. Venkata has been my main contact and go to person when I need relay settings, firmware upgrades and relay test plans. We have worked multiple jobs together over the years. He has been available after hours and on weekends when we needed help. Venkata has been most helpful and goes the extra mile to get things done.

I have been working with Venkata Pendurthi for the last 2.5 years in relay settings and configuration. During this time, he has been my mentor, teaching me settings and procedures. Due to his experience with Entergy procedure and relay protection, he is an invaluable resource for the whole settings team. He is always available to help with questions or concerns. Due to his work, I believe he has a great reputation among all the groups we interact with. Because of the turnover and general lack of experience the settings group has had, without his depth of knowledge and guidance to draw from, we would not be able to train new team members very well and would struggle to effectively complete our projects. Venkata is a true asset to the settings team.

For the past 5.5 years I’ve been helping the PM&C group with Relay Oversight on many projects, mostly in N Ms. There have been several occasions where we’ve had to seek relay revisions or help in general due to field changes or design issues. Never have we had any issues to come up where Venkata, or his team, were not willing and able to assist in a proper solution. In our world it’s never cookie cutter and variations often come into play, so Venkata has been my first call for quite some time. It’s comforting to know that whatever problem we have in the field we have someone with his knowledge to help us out. A perfect example, this past Saturday we were attempting to run ‘End to End’ fault sims between Schlater to Greenwood and Schlater to Ruleville subs. A couple days before we had put the new 115kV Op Bus in service along with 4 new GCBs and line relay protection panels. When we tried to test the new line differential we were stumped because it was not operating. 1 call to Venkata and the problem was identified and field setting revisions were applied to correct the issue. This one little issue could have really turned ugly if it hadn’t been identified and corrected. I hope this association with Venkata continues in the future and as I’ve previously stated it’s been a pleasure to work with him.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Venkata Pendurthi. I have known him for over ten years. At the time when he first joined my work group, he had just received his master's degree from Mississippi State University. Since then, he has worked with me on and off for six years. I am impressed with Venkata in his amiable approach to people. He works well with everyone around him and is willing to help anyone. He has displayed a high degree of integrity and responsibility. As an example, he honors his commitments and delivers results on time. Venkata’s professional work has been related to electric power system protection, mostly in Transmission and Distribution.
